Turkon Container Transport Ve Maritime Inc. was founded in 1980 and originally started working as Mersin Agency to be based in Mersin. Turkon, which now has 3000 contracted transport vessels of Twenty Foot Equivalent (TEU) size, includes the transportation of goods within its geographical borders as a leading freight company in Mersin Port.
Turkon specializes in maritime trade among the Southern Marmara Region, Mediterranean Region, Black Sea Region, Eastern Mediterranean, Central Mediterranean, Far East and Universal Transportation Services as well as body services. It offers modern and comfortable commercial light docks with its modern machinery, equipment and technology in the transportation sector and its wide gallery. These are some of the services generally provided by strategic ports such as Istanbul Bosphorus, Mersin Harborbaşı and Çanakkale Strait.
