Orjin yazılım tarafından geliştirilen Omega isimli şantiye takip yazılımını büyük bedeller vererek satın aldık. Yazılımı satın alma süreçlerinde taleplerimiz doğrultusunda programda geliştirmeler yapabileceklerini, ilk senesi ücretsiz olmak üzere yıllık teknik destek hizmeti vereceklerini ifade ettiler. Ancak bir senelik kullanım süremiz boyunca talep ettiğimiz hiçbir geliştirme yapılmadı. Bu süre boyunca programda ortaya çıkan hataları bildirdik ama her düzeltme başka hatalara neden oldu. Program hiçbir zaman stabil olarak çalışmadı, sadece mazot takibini bile hatasız olarak yapamadık. Sürekli yeni hatalarla karşılaştık, bu hatalar programı aktif olarak kullanmayı imkânsız hale getiriyordu. Yani her sene teknik destek hizmeti almaya mecbur bırakılacaktık. Program geliştirmeyle ilgili en basit taleplerimizi ilettiğimizde yaklaşık 2-3 hafta bekletiyorlar, ardından bu geliştirmeyi yapamayacaklarını söylüyorlardı. Programı satın almadan önce referans olarak gösterilen bazı firmalarla görüşme yaptığımızda olumsuz değerlendirmeler gelmesine rağmen, orjin yazılım verdiği sözlü ve yazılı taahhütler ile bizi satın almaya ikna etmişti. Ancak satın almadan sonraki süreçte bu taahhütlerin yerine getirilmediğini gördük. 1 sene boyunca uğraştıktan sonra programı kullanmayı bıraktık.
